Gyeongbokgung is a royal palace located in Seoul, South Korea. It was built in 1395 during the Joseon Dynasty and served as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongbokgung is a popular tourist destination in South Korea and receives many visitors from all over the world, It's open to the public from 9am to 5pm and a changing of the guard ceremony is held at the palace's main gate at 10am, 1pm and 3pm.
How to get there
Gyeongbokgung Palace is located in central Seoul, and there are several options for getting there using public transportation.
One option is to take the subway. The palace is closest to Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3) and Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), both of which are located just a short walk from the palace. From either station, you can exit and follow the signs to the palace.
Another option is to take a bus. Several city buses stop near the palace, including buses numbers 1020, 7025, 171, 172, or 601. You can also take the blue bus routes, number 7212, or 6002.

you can take the airport rail link (AREX) and get off at Gyeongbokgung station, it takes around 43 minutes from Incheon airport.
